To get to know people who is their mind enormously different from you and that moment it feels like it requires more than anything to get best in you when you are talking to them. It's not about give up in knowing people more but it is an honour actually, exchanging good topics with them and don't be too hard about it anyway.
Make your circles big while you still can. Talk to people, be kind, be humble, discover yourself in old or new hit songs, travel more if you can. Importantly, read more books, and do not limit your reading to certain author only.
